Freelance Medical Writer

Pharmaceutical / Medical Communications Projects

Logan Elite is seeking experienced Freelance Medical Writers to support current and upcoming projects with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and medical communications clients.

Project Overview

We are building a network of experienced medical writers who can support a variety of projects, including:

• Pharmaceutical sales training
• Medical education
• eLearning and training modules
• Scientific and clinical content
• Medical communications
• Product and disease-state education
• Training storyboards and scripts
• Presentation and workshop materials
• HCP and field-team educational content

Projects may vary in subject matter, therapeutic area, audience, and scope.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking experienced medical writers who can:

• Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging content
• Conduct independent research and identify credible sources
• Develop well-organized, accurate, and audience-appropriate content
• Work independently while collaborating with subject matter experts and project teams
• Adapt writing style for different audiences and learning objectives
• Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional medical writing experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical education, or medical communications
• Strong scientific and medical writing skills
• Ability to research, interpret, and accurately communicate scientific information
• Experience developing content for professional healthcare audiences
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing pharmaceutical sales training
• Experience with eLearning storyboards or scripts
• Experience in medical education or medical communications
• Experience working with pharmaceutical or biotech clients
• Experience providing fully annotated references
• Familiarity with Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review
• Experience in one or more therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, rheumatology, dermatology, cardiology, neurology, or other specialty areas
