Job Description
Drivers are responsible for safely operating company vehicles and assisting with patient transportation within the scope of their training and assigned duties.
Drivers must:
Maintain a valid driver's license and follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Wear required seat belts as well as operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
Maintain professional conduct with patients and facility personnel.
Complete required vehicle inspections and checklists before and after shift.
Report vehicle problems, accidents, and safety concerns promptly.
Perform only duties for which they are trained and authorized.
Drivers who are not medically credentialed should not represent themselves as EMTs, paramedics, or other medical professionals.
