Kalorama Dental Arts is a well established dental practice located in Washington, DC with an outstanding reputation in its field. We are expanding our practice to offer select aesthetic injectable services to our existing patients and the surrounding community.

As part of this expansion, we are creating a dedicated aesthetics treatment room within our dental practice and are looking for an experienced, personable, and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner aesthetic injector to help establish and grow this new service.

This is an opportunity to join an established healthcare environment while having the opportunity to help shape and build a boutique aesthetics program from the beginning.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner / Injector who is confident performing cosmetic injectable treatments and is interested in a flexible, part-time opportunity.

Initially, our aesthetics program will be focused specifically on injectable treatments , including neuromodulators and dermal fillers. We are not currently looking for a skincare provider and this position will not require chemical peels, facials, or other general skincare services.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working one-on-one with patients, takes a conservative and natural approach to aesthetics, and is interested in developing a long-term patient base.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform aesthetic injectable consultations and treatments
• Administer neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport or comparable products
• Perform dermal filler treatments appropriate to the candidate's training and experience
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's facial anatomy, goals, and desired outcomes
• Provide thorough pre- and post-treatment patient education
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
• Follow appropriate infection-control, safety, and clinical protocols
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and professionalism
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients
• Participate in growing the aesthetics side of the practice

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license and appropriate licensure/credentials to practice in Washington, DC
• Previous hands-on experience performing aesthetic injections
• Demonstrated experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetic assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, personable, and patient-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Current malpractice coverage or willingness to obtain appropriate coverage, as applicable
• someone with experience establishing an Aesthetic practice as we already have a full book of interested clientele

Preferred:

• 3+ year of experience as an aesthetic injector
• Experience with multiple neuromodulator products
• Experience with a variety of dermal filler products and treatment areas
• Training in advanced injection techniques
• Existing aesthetics patient following is a plus, but not required
• Experience working independently in a medical aesthetics environment

Schedule

We are open to discussing a flexible schedule based on the candidate's availability and the needs of the practice.

We anticipate starting with one or more dedicated aesthetics days per week , with the potential to increase availability as the program grows.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are looking for a part-time or supplemental aesthetics opportunity rather than necessarily seeking a full-time position.

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience , with the opportunity to discuss one of the following: hourly, percentage-of-collections, or other mutually beneficial compensation structure.
